This is my first Furby. I've always wanted one but since I am in my 30's and possibly "too old" to be entertained for long by a children's toy I never took the plunge..but when I saw this wookie Furby I had to have it.📦Unboxing: Getting it out of the box and putting in the batteries is a hassle. It's completely stuck in the cardboard insert and I had to cut the cardboard to get him out. Never mind that he needed FOUR AA batteries, in my excitement I forgot to buy any so had to run around the house shaking down remote controllers and other electronics. You have to use a Phillips screwdriver to get the battery housing open and closed again so the first time I put in a set of bad batteries I had to completely unscrew it again to put in new ones. Then Furby came alive upside-down in my hands while I was trying to get the compartment screwed closed while my boyfrind kept admonishing me, "YOU ARE GOING TO TURN HIM EVIL, HURRY UP! HE WILL TURN EVIL!!"😮First Impressions: My heart instantly melted as he yawned and coo'd and make adorable Chewbacca noises. And when he sang the Imperial March it was all over. He was in my heart forever. With his long fluffy fur, expressive eyes and his plastic bandolier with an unfortunate completely hollow back (what is he expecting to stash in there?) he is just about the cutest little thing I have seen in a robotic toy. And the fact that he is a Star Wars themed toy--just yes.📝1 Week Update: I've been playing with him almost a week now waiting for him to learn bits of English and Furbish but he hasn't really done anything new after the first few days. He does do some pretty cute gurgles and lovey noises and occasionally gets mad. Today out of nowhere when I was playing with him he seemed to be sick and kept making retching noises. I didn't know what to do so I played with his app which seems to have made him forget that he was sick.📲Furbacca App: He likes it when I use the Furbacca app but it's a demanding job, almost like a Tamagotchi. The Star Wars-themed art and the clever little things you get to try made me delighted. But I think I have reached the limit of the app, I've hatched all the eggs (I think?) and bought almost all the different food and bath supplies so I don't know if there's more, and if there's nothing new happening it quickly grows boring.👾Annoyance Factor: mine doesn't turn on randomly, I actually have to pick it up and sometimes turn him side to side a bit to wake him up. And once you are done playing and stop petting him, moving him or whatever he usually goes to sleep within a few minutes. More than anyone the cat gets annoyed by him, he has bitten Furbacca on the head a few times.🎶Dancing: if you listen to music or play a dancing game on the Wii, for example, he will dance to the music and sometimes act like he is singing. It's pretty cute.📢Frustrations: I couldn't find any clear indication anywhere if this reacts with other Furbys. Some people say yes, some say no. Also some people says it speaks English and Furbish, I haven't heard any of either, just Wookie noises. I wish the company would clearly say what this Furbacca does and what it doesn't do. I'm certainly not going to bother buying a Furby boom to see them interact if they don't! Although this is adorable and I adore Star Wars, if this Furby doesn't learn and expand it's vocabulary and interactions like the other Furbys I'm going to be disappointed.🔋One more thing, for the price of these the company needs to put a rechargeable battery in them that you can power up with a USB charger.

I wish I could give this more stars than 5 because I absolutely LOVE this little guy! Chewbacca is my all-time favorite character in Star Wars, so it makes sense that I would love this. However, I have a huge collection of different plush and toys that are Chewbaccas, and this is my favorite now by far. The box it came in makes it appear to be a lot bigger than it really is (yes, I opened it to play with instead of keeping it as a collector's item!). I was actually grateful that it was smaller than the box because it is still rather big.I have some of the original Furby's, so I was expecting a certain level of play before I even got this. The fact that it interacts with an app is OK... but the app does not "scan" the toy very well. It took well over 30 minutes for the first use to acknowledge we had a Furbacca sitting in front of the phone. On the second day, I gave up after 10 minutes of trying and just decided to play with him without the app. You can feed it, pet it, tickle it... all just like the original one. The best part of THIS toy, though, is that it appears to act just like the Furby Boom in the fact that it interats with the furblings. I've only tried it with one, but you can clearly tell there is interaction between the two, even if you can't understand a thing that Furbacca says! (I've come up with some translations for the kids when they ask, though... hehe). He does indeed sing Star Wars themed songs, which I love... and his eyes make pictures of whatever he's talking about to help in translation. I know he's just a little toy, but I feel like we have an attachment already! 😉 The kids find it hilarious and they keep switching which is their favorite... but overall, this is a terrific toy. I waited until the price was lower, but it dropped another $10 after I got it, so I wish I had waited a little longer. Still, it's fun and I love it!Oh, one last thing. The app states that it basically works with Apple products and some Android, but I get the feeling it doesn't work with hardly any Android devices. We only tried it on a few, but the delay on my phone makes me think it's better suited for Apple devices. If I find this to be true in the future, I will update the review!

I bought this for my 4 year old for his birthday. He loves furbies. He really likes him and carries him in a small backpack when we go anywhere. He seems pretty durable. But I don't let my son take him outside. When you are moving the furbacca around he stays awake. But if he sits for a while or you pull his tail for 10 seconds he goes to sleep. Also if you lay him on his back he will go to sleep. He dose not have an off switch or volume control. But he's not too loud. He sings Star Wars music in a Chewbacca type voice and makes chewbacca sounds. He also has Star Wars ships that fly through he's eyes, I thought was a very cool feature. I really like the digital eyes. They move a lot and even make tears when he is crying. As far as how interactive he is I have not fully tested all that out yet. Since he is for my 4 year old son he mostly carries him and has furbacca chew his finger, which he will make chewing sounds for. Also, if you are wondering, the bag around him dose not come off. It is sewn on. If you have an older kid who is looking for a very interactive toy this probably would not be a great choice. But if your looking for something that's cute or you have furby/Star Wars nostalgia this would be a very cute toy to have. I had a Furby as a kid and I actually think this one is a lot cuter than mine was. Furbacca rocks back and forth, the eye feature is very cool, and the fur is very nice. We also have a hatchimal but Furby is way cuter, not as loud, and make much cuter sounds.

Purchased after much needling from children, they have hardly touched or used it since. This one even less than the normal one as it doesn't talk at all, just grunts or sings Star Wars theme songs. Funny for 30 seconds.

The Bounty Hunter Code

47North. 2013 gbs preview - Star Wars Furbacca

Around the time legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett tumbled into the Great Pit of Carkoon, the Rebel Alliance discovered a secure, blast-proof bounty hunter's case holding Boba Fett's personal items. For years it remained hidden away. But now all who wish may unlock the secrets held within . . . .Press the buttons, insert the data card, and the case opens with sounds and lights. Housed within is a text of great import. At some point in his career Boba Fett bound together the latest edition of the Bounty Hunters Guild Handbook and a manifesto from Death Watch, the secretive splinter group of Mandalorians. Together, these volumes make up The Bounty Hunter Code. The handbook is an essential guide for all bounty hunters. Senior Guild members offer advice for hunters new to the Guild, a detailed list of the tools and techniques crucial to the “crimson trade,” and the basics of making a living on the margins of galactic law. Boba Fett has scrawled additions and commentary in the margins throughout, as have the bounty hunters Greedo, Bossk, and Dengar, all of whom were once in possession of the Handbook. The Death Watch volume — part informational guide, part manifesto — is full of Death Watch history, philosophy, and discussions of key Mandalorian gear: their famous T-visors, their celebrated armor, and their impressive jetpacks. This Death Watch booklet was originally taken from Death Watch leader Tor Vizsla and given to Boba by his father, Jango Fett, and features handwritten notes from father to son. Boba in turn intended to leave it to his daughter, and so he's added his own annotations to aid in her education. The bounty hunter Aurra Sing and the pirate Hondo Ohnaka have added their commentary as well.Tucked beneath The Bounty Hunter Code is Cradossk's memoir, Making a Killing, a brutal account of his rise to the top of the Bounty Hunters Guild. From the creators of Book of Sith and The Jedi Path, in collaboration with Lucasfilm, The Bounty Hunter Code reveals the secrets of the hunt and offers insight into this demanding, dangerous, and misunderstood profession. The case includes:. The Bounty Hunter Code. The 48-page memoirs of Cradossk, former head of the Bounty Hunters Guild, with an inscription from the author to Boba Fett. A Kamino saberdart. Boba Fett's captain's license. Boba Fett's arms permit. Slave I's official operating license. An Imperial wanted poster for Han Solo. An inventory slip from the Rebel Alliance forces who discovered and seized Boba's property
