CUSTOMER REVIEWS
I have to say right off the bat, I think this Deadpool is one of the all time best Marvel Legends figures made, throughout Toy Biz and Hasbro's expansive offerings to date. Very faithful to the modern version of the character, sculpt and details are top notch. On top of that, he comes loaded with weapons and accessories, considerably more than your average Marvel Legends figure. And on top of that, high level of quality overall, and of course super poseable (which isn't hindered by his various gear and straps attached to his body). I'm still hoping to get a classic 90's/first appearance version of the character, but this one is well sufficient for now, I really don't think I have any negatives to point out about this figure. All in all, and especially since I got lucky and caught him at $19.99 with Prime shipping back in November 2016, so worth it and a total must have for a Marvel, X-Men, Deadpool fan!

*I usually wait to be asked to do a review.this time I didn't.after waiting weeks for the prices to come back to reality, finally ordered mine monday&it arrived 2days earlier than expected(wednesday)&I didn't pay the astronomical prices seen with him&his predecessor, black panther(paid$27&$19.99respectively).hasbro legends figures typically have slight irregularities.big heads.not enough bulk.etc.deadpool isn't quite the exception, yet somehow remains what it is-awesome.I made a couple changes&now mine is better than it already was(ps;think the current&upcoming xmen wave are likely the best legends in years)*

One of the best marvel legends figures since hasbro took over. Most of hasbro's toys are lackluster, but this new deadpool is designed much better and really looks great and is super poseable. The silver weapons look pretty terrible as they are just a shiny silver spray job, but the paint on the figure, the extra head, and the taco are quite good. The whole thing could use some nice shading, but it has been apparent for years that hasbro will never be as good as toy biz and will apparently never learn to use shading in their toys.As for the box, it does allow them to display nicely, but for avid collectors who plan to display in box and never open, don't order from Amazon, order from another prime or third party seller. Amazons toys always arrive with a damaged box. If you plan to open it and discard the box though, it's no biggie.

Paint apps, sculpting, articulation and amount of accessories are on point and make it a absolute steal if you're lucky enough to get it retail prices.Negatives are that the pinkie extended right hand is a bit odd and makes holding some weapons a pain though it does fit the character a optional normal hand would have been nice, though the taco, swords and knife have nice paint applications the rest of the weapons are bare unpainted plastic although I had no problem fixing this with some Gundam Markers. The rocket launcher and shotgun on mine were a bit bent out of package but this was easily fixed by dipping them in very hot water to make them pliable, straightening them out and then running them under cold water to re harden the plastic

Marvel Legends Deadpool is one of the most anticipated figures in one of the most anticipated waves in one of the best years of Marvel Legends. As you might be able to tell, this makes him one of the harder to find figures in a year filled with hard to find figures. If that doesn't sound like a recipe for disaster then let me remind you this figure was released hot off the heels of the mega hit Deadpool movie. Whereas the other anticipated figures, such as Spider-Gwen or movie Black Panther, have finally declined in price, Deadpool here still goes for about $40 from most sellers. I managed to snag mine for around retail but is he worth the $40 most vendors are asking? Let me answer that right away, no he isn't. However, he's still one of the best Legends of the year and maybe even of all time. The Sculpt:The figure for the most part is the basic BuckyCap mold we're used to seeing by now. If you collect Legends then you probably have at least one other figure on this body. Newly sculpted are his forearms, his boots, his two heads, his belt, and his sword sheathes. Maaaaybe his hip holster, but I can't be too sure. His masked head is depicted with the standard one bugged out eye and other squinty look Deadpool is known for. It looks good. But what I think is the best sculpted thing here is his unmasked head. It takes inspiration from many artists but I think it most resembles his look from Marvel Now! An interesting easter egg is that some of the scars on the unmasked head are states. You can see California and some others in there. Not to mention that winning grin on plastered on his face. This is honestly one of the best face sculpts Hasbro has ever done, it's gorgeously grotesque. The Paint:Paint here is typical Marvel Legends fare for the most part. It's not the cleanest, but for a $20 mass retail figure you can't expect perfection. The red over the black in particular can be a bit splotchy with some black seeping in. Still, it's hardly noticeable. One odd thing is that his belt, holsters, or sheathes don't have any paint wash. This makes them look a bit dull. Heck most of the accessories are hardly painted and those that are, like the sword handles and knife handle, are painted with paint that rubs off easily. It's a wonder they even painted them at all what with the paint being so terrible. That's my biggest complaint with the figure, the paint on the sword and knife handles is terrible. It's always rubbing off onto his hands when you slide them in and out. Really though I think most of the paint budget went into the unmasked head. Seriously, I can't get over how wonderful that head looks. There's a nice wash over it that really brings the sculpt out, it's great. The Articulation:Really, I don't think much needs to be said here. Again, it's the BuckyCap mold so that means the articulation is really nice. The Accessories:This guy has a whole load of accessories. There's the aforementioned alternate head, he has two pistols, a huge rail gun, tiny round barreled shotgun, a taco, two katanas, a knife, and a rocket launcher with a boxing glove in it. Really, that's a great amount of accessories. The only problem is that most of them are unpainted. I think the round barreled shotgun would have looked better in black plastic instead of the dull bluish silver they used for it but that's just me. Also weird is that the rocker launcher is really rubbery. If you have the Walgreens exclusive Punisher's rocket launcher you know exactly what I mean. Still, that's a great number of accessories and each of them look good with the figure.Overall:Hasbro has really outdone themselves this time. Not only have they surpassed their previous Deadpool, they surpassed Toybiz's too. This figure is one of the finest Marvel Legends I've ever bought. However, he's not worth the $40 he's going for. But don't worry, Deadpool's a popular character now. There's no doubt in my mind we'll be seeing him again in another Marvel Legends wave soon. It wouldn't even surprise me if he got his own wave down the line, which would be pretty rad. At most, I'd pay like $35 for this guy and that includes shipping. So if you can find him for that much, I'd say go for it.
