CUSTOMER REVIEWS
It's a cool toy, no doubt. And I'll say a few of the good things first before going into the reasons why this is most likely going to be returned to the store. It's well built. It's sturdy and it can take a beating for sure. It's heavy so it's very planted on the ground and it's close to impossible to flip. The assembly out of the box is very easy. The battery goes for a long time. The multiple speed adjustment is handy for learning how to use it. There is enough power to climb small hills. Now the bad things, from things that make it useless down to annoyances and things that could be better given the price.1 - The 2 motors are independent. As such, the 2 wheels don't spin uniformly. Max pressure on both joysticks, and the thing doesn't go in a straight line. And that means you can't have a kid drive this on a sidewalk. Given it's weight, unless you back onto a green park, that alone renders this useless as you can't take it anywhere.2 - The joysticks' sensitivity is hit and miss. Sometimes going super gentle on them makes the toy go slow, which is good. Other times you hit the end and the thing won't start moving, so you have to start again. When you do, if you go a touch harder on them, one side tends to jump. This makes it extremely difficult to maneuver it in tight-ish spaces (say between 2 cars on the driveway, on the way to the park).3 - There is overall lack of precision on the joysticks. Sometimes the toy starts moving sooner, sometimes later, sometimes it doesn't. This frustrates kids (and parents, who think their kids are doing a bad job at driving this $300 toy when it's entirely not the kids' fault). So frustrated kids tend to slam on the joysticks that also does nothing.4. The wheels are plastic. This doesn't provide much grip on most surfaces. So the thing often does a tire spin when starting, and because of the independent motors, when one wheel spins more than the other, this causes the whole vehicle to turn in place... So if you spend some time dragging it to align it with the sidewalk, or general direction where you want to drive it, likely that'll never happen.Overall, it's a fun unique toy. If you have a big lawn and don't care too much which direction this will go, or you're happy with using it to spin in circles, this does the job. If you want to actually drive it where YOU want to drive, this won't go there. And before you say that it's the kids' fault, we put an adult who meets the weight restriction on it and all this info comes from them trying to drive it.

I got this for my 5 yr. old son who was diagnosed with Leg Clave Perthes Disease. He is not suppose to put weight on his right leg for couple of years. The Power Wheels Wild Thing awesome. Took him a little bit to get good at the steering, but he can go anywhere now. My 11 year old son is enjoying it as well. They ride mostly on the concrete, but it does go down the dirt/gravel driveway just fine. There is a thing with the handles.... one of them has a tendency to hang and you have to pull it back. Other than that, it's great. Definitely recommend this, especially for kiddos who are in wheelchairs or crutches and need a fun ride.

I bought mine locally, but the same exact item.Very easy to assemble. It only requires a Phillips screwdriver. Two screws on the hub cap to hold the wheels on. I could lift the shipping box myself. My four grandsons love it, ages 4-8. The four year old is mildly autistic and is catching on to the controls very easily. We have a power wheels ATV, but he can't get the foot throttle and steering going together. He rides with his brothers but not by himself. This he loves, all smiles. He loves the circle spins, typical for autistic. He does not have the control like his older brothers, but he is only 4, and autistic. The battery is only 9.5 ah (amp hour). I bought a 15ah battery from Amazon for the ATV, and have ordered one for the wild thing. This price beats all local suppliers, and free shipping with prime.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K89864K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The connections are different, not a big deal changing the wiring. If you have no mechanical skills, you will have to stay with the power wheels brand battery, more money for less powerful battery. The better battery does not affect speed, just the ride time.Four boys and constant riding will drain the battery in 1-2 hours. Better battery gets nearly twice the ride time. One child and after an hour or so they will probably be done on their own.The stock charger is as cheap as it gets. 14 hours, and no indicator for when it is done. A warning says do not go ever 30 hours. I have a good $90 charger for my motorcycle and outdoor equipment, and it recharges in 3-4 hours, with indicators and can leave it on weeks at a time. You certainly do not have to buy the better battery and charger, but for maximum enjoyment of this great toy, it helps. The tires are hard plastic sides, and softer rubber in the center - colored strip in the photos. We have only been using it in the yard before we move to the driveway and culdesac. These toys do work fine in the grass, but like a smooth surface better, just like the ATV.They handle much differently because of the joy sticks, but not that hard to get the hang of it.The greatest joy was watching our disabled grandson riding it just like his big brothers. That alone made it worth the price. He bumped into the fence one time, I showed him reverse, and he had it from there. He is very intelligent, just has language issues, which he is learning to overcome.I noticed some sellers have bumped up the price for the Christmas season, that happens. $330 is a fair price, although I did better that that with a sale price. If you can afford the premium price, and like the convenience Amazon offers, go for it.This is easy to recommend, but a handy parent willing to do the battery upgrades will add greatly to the value. There are power wheels discussion forums on the internet, with lots of photos and hints. The posters are very helpful, and very friendly.I will probably be buying another one after Christmas, I love making my grandsons happy.

Came poorly packaged. It looked like it was opened and then repacked.I really wanted to love the Wild Thing, but Fisher Price went cheap and it shows:- The battery charger is just a simple brick, there are no lights to show it is plugged in or working.- Wheels are plastic with poor traction- Joystick controllers are inconsistent, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't- "Seat Belt" falls out easily. My kids had an hour of fun spinning circles, but that got old and they went off to find something funner to do. On the bright side, the battery still had power.

My son has cerebral palsy and normally uses a manual wheelchair but he absolutely loves this ride on toy that he can control with his hands. Now he can play on the same ride on toy as other kids in the neighborhood.

Bought this for my grandkids and they loved It! THEY had a blast spinning round and round. It goes up to 5 mph but you can adjust the speed lower if needed. Comes with a battery and charger that's the only downside, it takes 14 hours after every use with an initial charge of 18 hours. Minor assembly required but its simple.

How to Learn a Foreign Language

Simon and Schuster. 2013 gbs preview - Fisher-Price Muddy Puddles Bathtime Peppa Toy

In this entertaining and groundbreaking book, Dr. Paul Pimsleur, creator of the renowned Pimsleur Method, the world leader in audio-based language learning, shows how anyone can learn to speak a foreign language. If learning a language in high school left you bruised, with a sense that there was no way you can learn another language, How to Learn a Foreign Language will restore your sense of hope. In simple, straightforward terms, Dr. Pimsleur will help you learn grammar (seamlessly), vocabulary, and how to practice pronunciation (and come out sounding like a native). The key is the simplicity and directness of Pimsleur’s approach to a daunting subject, breaking it down piece by piece, demystifying the process along the way. Dr. Pimsleur draws on his own language learning trials and tribulations offering practical advice for overcoming the obstacles so many of us face. Originally published in 1980, How to Learn a Foreign Language is now available on the 50th anniversary of Dr. Pimsleur’s publication of the first of his first audio courses that embodied the concepts and methods found here. It's a fascinating glimpse into the inner workings of the mind of this amazing pioneer of language learning.
